Councillor Críona Ní Dhálaigh-Soth West Inner City

Críona Ní Dhálaigh was co-opted onto Dublin City Council in April 2006 representing the Dublin South West Inner City area. She is a resident of Ballyfermot and is originally from Crumlin. She was the office manager at the Sinn Féin Dublin South Central full time constituency office since 2002.

She is a mother of two young sons, Caoimhín and Domhnall, and is a fluent Irish speaker. She has been an active republican since her teens and has always been an able and committed activist, highly respected by her comrades. She is now a member of the Joe Clarke Cumann in the South Inner City, having been a member of the Ballyfermot cumann for years.

Críona is a wonderful addition to the team of elected Sinn Féin representatives who will work hard for the constituents of South West Inner City and since being co-opted as Councillor Críona has worked alongside community groups, and statutory agencies to try and address the concerns of the South West Inner City, in particular housing, drugs, anti-social behaviour, transport planning enforcement and health issues."
