Donnelly Condemns Mulhuddart MurderPublished: 26 January, 2008
Paul Donnelly, Sinn Féin's representative in Dublin West, has strongly condemned those responsible for last night's murder of a pensioner in Mulhuddart.
Speaking earlier from the scene of the crime Mr. Donnelly said "The community here are totally shocked and disgusted that a pensioner could be murdered in such a horrific manner for no apparent reason. The people of Wellview and Mulhuddart are plagued with all sorts of anti-social behaviour on a daily basis and unfortunately something like this was always bound to happen. There is clearly an onus on the Gardaí to tackle this thuggery head on. I urge anyone who has any information in relation to this brutal murder to pass it on to the authorities to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice." |
