Corduff Park Footpath to be repaired

Published: 11 September, 2007

Blanchardstown Sinn Féin Councillor Felix Gallagher has secured funds to repair the main footpath in Corduff Park. The path which is used daily by hundreds of Corduff residents has subsided and is continuously under water.

Cllr. Gallagher "Following my request, Council officials have confirmed that they will be repairing the footpath within the coming weeks. This footpath is used by hundreds of people on a daily basis to access the Church, shops and health centre in Corduff. Approximately a five metre stretch has subsided and is subject to consistent flooding and resembles a mud-bath. I am delighted that this work will be carried out in the near future before the winter weather sets in. The path is used particularly by elderly people and school children and they will be relieved at this decision."
