Sinn Féin's candidate for the South Dublin by-election Shaun Tracey has announced this evening's announcement in the Dáil that the poll will take place on June 5th, the same day as the local and European elections. Read full article

Members of Sinn Féin today placed a picket on Adams Auctioneers on Stephen's Green in protest at the sale of significant Irish historical artefacts. Speaking at the picket South Dublin Sinn Féin by-election candidate Shaun Tracey called on the Government to compulsorily purchase the items and put them on public display in the National Museum for the benefit of all Irish people and tourists to our country. South Dublin Sinn Féin representative Shaun Tracey has called on Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to embark on a new social housing building programme to tackle its chronic unemployment and housing crises. Mr. Tracey was speaking today as figures from the Central Statistics Office revealed that unemployment in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown has more than doubled in the past year. Read full article
