Dundrum Sinn Féin local election candidate Oonagh O'Reilly has challenged South Dublin Green Party TD and Minister Eamon Ryan to give a commitment that he will protect Dundrum Bus services which are under threat from the company's decision to withdraw 120 buses from the city. Read full article

Sinn Féin's local election candidate for the Sandyford Glencullen Ward Shaun Tracey has called on Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to urgently close off access to wasteland behind Sandyford Park which has been used in a spate of burglaries recently. Read full article

Responding to figures released this morning which show that unemployment in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown has risen by 14% to 5,187 since December, Sinn Féin's local election candidate for the Glencullen Ward Shaun Tracey called on the Government to introduce a major job creation strategy through the building of public infrastructure including homes, schools, childcare facilities and roads. South Dublin Sinn Féin representative Shaun Tracey has welcomed the announcement of a date for the by-election in Dublin South to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Séamus Brennan. However Mr. Tracey criticised the Fiann Fáil Party for failing to move the writ for the election to take place earlier. Read full article
