Councillor welcomes resumption of postal services in Ballybough

Disappointment as Dublin City Council implement Government Budget cuts

Ringsend waste treatment plant an "unmitigated disaster from day one" says local councillor

A Dublin City Councillor has described as an 'unmitigated disaster from day one' the design, build and operation of the waste treatment plant in Ringsend. Sinn Féin Councillor Daithí Doolan was responding to publication of a Department of Environment commissioned report in to the operation of the plant which he said, had 'caused significant inconvenience, discomfort and annoyance for the people of Ringsend and surrounding areas.' Half of Gaza without power as Israeli blockade continues - Ó Snodaigh

Sinn Féin Justice and Human Rights Spokesperson Aengus Ó Snodaigh TD has said half of the city of Gaza is currently without electricity as Israel is refusing to allow fuel, paid for by the EU, into the city. Deputy Ó Snodaigh, who is currently visiting Gaza with a group of European Parliamentarians, visited the city's power plant this morning. Read full article

Dangerous televised advertisement must be removed from busy road junction in Sandyford - Sinn Féin

Sandyford/Glencullen Sinn Féin Representative Shaun Tracey has called on a developer in South Dublin to remove what he described as a dangerous televised advertisement from a busy traffic junction. Mr. Tracey said the advertisement is distracting drivers at the T-Junction beside the Stillorgan Luas stop. Read full article

Council move on development levies welcome but long overdue
