SINN FÉIN in Dublin 15 will hold their annual commemoration to mark the 88th anniversary of the death of IRA Volunteer Martin Savage on Saturday 8th December. The march will assemble at 2pm opposite Myo's Public House in Castleknock Village and it will proceed to the commemorative stone at the Halfway House roundabout near Ashtown for a wreath laying ceremony. Mounttown Flats Demolished - Victory of Local Community

On Thursday November 25th Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Council commenced demolition of the Mounttown Flats, Fitzgerald Park, Monkstown. The move follows a concerted community campaign to have the flats taken down. Sinn Féin Dun Laoghaire representative Eoin Ó Broin has described the development "as a victory of the local community". Mary Lou McDonald sets out Sinn Féin vision for Dublin

Speaking to more than 100 Sinn Féin activists at a conference in Dublin this morning MEP Mary Lou McDonald said Sinn Féin's priorities for Dublin are to create safer Dublin communities, end the housing crisis in the city, end the unequal two-tier health system and to promote republican politics in the capital city. Ms. McDonald also said Sinn Féin in Dublin will lead a robust campaign against the EU reform treaty and called on all republicans in the city to get involved with the party. Read full article

Dublin Sinn Féin will hold a city wide conference tomorrow (Saturday November 10th) entitled a vision for Dublin.
